Analysis of the competitive pattern of China's printing industry (III)

section II analysis of the competitive situation of China's printing industry

I. The Reform of printing enterprises is deepening

the ownership structure of printing enterprises has undergone great changes, the composition of the state-owned economy is gradually shrinking, and the mixed ownership economy is constantly expanding

according to the statistics of 90000 printing enterprises, state-owned and collective enterprises account for 34.5%, limited companies, joint-stock companies, foreign capital and Sino foreign joint ventures account for 21%, and individual and private enterprises account for 39%. A new pattern of joint development of printing enterprises with various economic components has been formed

II. The formation and development of regional printing industrial belts are accelerating:

according to the report in the aluminum age (aluminum times, feb2015, p.12; october/november2015p.8), Alcoa's micromillr can produce the second generation of automotive aluminum strip. Two regional industrial belts with relatively developed printing industries in the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta have taken shape and are accelerating their development. In 2003, the sales of printing industry in Guangdong Province has reached 70billion yuan, and has become one of the pillar industries in Guangdong Province. The number of enterprises, sales, the number of foreign-funded enterprises, the number of private enterprises, exports, imported equipment, CTP ownership, economic benefits and other ten indicators all rank first in the country. It has a large number of large printing enterprises with an output value of more than 1billion yuan, such as Tiger color group, yatushi, Zhangjiabian group, etc. The printing industry in the Yangtze River Delta region centered on Shanghai has also developed very rapidly. Shanghai lists the printing industry as an urban industry, with annual sales growth of 15%. The output value of the printing industry in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces has exceeded 20billion, and has formed an industrial chain group linked by central cities such as Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou, Jiangyin, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Ningbo, etc., and the printing market covers the whole country. The printing industry in the Bohai Rim Economic Zone, with Beijing and Tianjin as the core, is also accelerating. Beijing has 21 commercial rotating machines, ranking the leading position in the country. As the policies and measures for the western development and revitalization of the old industrial base in Northeast China are gradually put in place, the printing enterprises in the developed eastern regions (including foreign-funded enterprises) will also drive the development of the printing industry in the central and western regions through various forms of cooperation and joint development

section III Analysis of China's cigarette bag market situation

I. with the gradual formation of large tobacco enterprise groups, cigarette brands will be greatly reduced, and the concentration of cigarette bag production will be higher

by the end of 2003, domestic small cigarette factories with an annual output of less than 100000 boxes will be closed, and cigarette factories with an annual output of 10000 boxes will also be merged and reorganized by cigarette factories with a scale of more than 300000 boxes in the past two years. The production plans of more than 180 cigarette factories across the country will first focus on 36 large cigarette factories determined by the state tobacco monopoly administration, and their cigarette brands will be reduced from more than 2000 in the past to about 200. Accordingly, the variety of cigarette packaging products will be greatly reduced, and the number of single varieties will increase accordingly. This reform process is expected to be completed by the end of 2005

with the first step of "closing small and strengthening large" reform, the prelude to the establishment of China's tobacco large enterprise groups has also begun. Cross regional mergers led by several strong tobacco provinces (cities) such as Shanghai, Yunnan and Hunan have been vigorously implemented. China tobacco will eventually set up about three large-scale and competitive tobacco groups in China around 2008, through both market and administration. The annual output of each group is more than 10million boxes. The co organizer: China Machinery Industry Federation, with about 30 brands. At that time, the concentration of cigarette bag production will be further increased

Second, the competition in the cigarette bag production market Jinan new era Gold Testing Instrument Co., Ltd. will become more intense by testing the samples provided by customers, and small and medium-sized cigarette bag production enterprises will face a change of production

at present, there are more than 100 enterprises specializing in the production of cigarette bags in the country, including about 30 packaging and printing enterprises with sole investment, holding and participation in the tobacco industry. With the reform of China's tobacco collectivization, it is expected that the packaging and printing enterprises outside the tobacco system will face increasing market pressure, and some enterprises with relatively backward equipment and technology will face changing production. Some packaging and printing enterprises in the tobacco industry will also withdraw from the cigarette package market due to technology, equipment, management and other reasons

III. cigarette bag design will develop towards the two poles of "simplicity" and "luxury"

at present, cigarette bags account for a relatively large proportion in the manufacturing cost of cigarettes in China, which greatly weakens the competitiveness of Chinese cigarettes with foreign cigarettes. Therefore, drawing on the experience of foreign cigarettes, domestic cigarette enterprises will tend to be "simple" in the design of cigarette labels of major brands. Big brand cigarettes, which are mainly characterized by the design of soft packs "Hongtashan" and "Baisha", will play a leading role in China's cigarette market. This demand is beneficial to tobacco packaging and printing enterprises with "advanced equipment, exquisite technology and strong strength"

however, due to China's large population, complex consumption levels, and great differences in cultural background from the west, cigarettes as gifts is a very common phenomenon. Therefore, as long as cigarettes do not withdraw from the gift market, cigarettes with "exquisite and luxurious" packaging will definitely have long-term demand. Although the number of cigarettes in this part is small, its packaging profit margin is relatively high, which is still very attractive for tobacco packaging and printing enterprises that are "good at designing and making gift packaging"

fourth, green packaging will become a hot spot for cigarette enterprises to develop new packaging

due to the increasing publicity of the harm of cigarettes to human health, cigarette enterprises will take "green" packaging as a selling point in order to improve their health image, which will become a new trend. Focusing on the most economical materials, the least waste, the most energy-saving and resource-saving, easy to recycle, reuse and recycle, waste combustion produces new energy but does not produce secondary pollution; A new upsurge of cigarette packaging will be set off with the theme of using the least packaging materials, decomposing by itself, not polluting the environment, protecting the natural environment to the greatest extent, and forming the minimum waste and minimum environmental pollution. The use of new materials such as environmentally friendly inks and aluminized cardboard will become a hot competition in the cigarette bag production market in the near future
